It's Rodeo Time Again - 9 July 2011

The Rodeo is NOT affected by the Hendra Virus outbreak as there are no restrictions to movement of horses, except from the properties involved.

Canungra Show Society invites local residents and visitors to join the excitement of the Annual Canungra Hotel Rodeo for 2011. This spectacular event will be held at the Canungra Showgrounds, Coburg Road, Canungra.

There will be a wide range of thrilling true grit events held over the afternoon and evening, including bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc riding and steer wrestling. All of which require all the skills and courage competitors can muster. Women can compete in barrel racing and rodeo queen events and the children in poddy riding, junior breakaway and junior barrel races. Facilities on the day include a licensed bar, food and drink stalls and live music. The rodeo will also feature entertainment for the kids with a variety of stalls and rides.
